An unknown red road bike my brother found at a garage sale for $50. It didn’t fit him, so I ended up with it as an interim bike before I got a new road bike. It came with Campy tubular rims laced to Shimano 600 hubs that match the rest of the bike, but I wasn’t about to ride tubulars. My plan was to cut the hubs out and lace them into some Mavic Open Pro rims, but a coworker offered me some clincher wheels he had sitting around, so I ran those. My hefty weight and aggressive riding style has done a number on those wheels, but I’ll run ’em into the ground.
