I first built this bike in the summer of 2006. It has since been modified a few times. Originally it was a straight up freeride bike. But, it has transformed into a liteweight downhill style bike. It is lite enough for me to climb 2,000 feet over 7 miles over a mountain in CO, and strong enough for me DH the other side of the mountain at 35+ mph. I like mixing it up on a single ride like that.
