About
Late 80’s Panasonnic DX (internet photo: mine was Moltini orange and had a Shimano/Mavic build)
Somewhere in late high school we all realized that road bikes were also cool, and in fact it was a lot easier to train on one than a mountain bike. I bought this bike from Ruhm while he worked at Durham Bike. This bike was another eye-opener: after riding fat tires for several years we all decided road bikes were like rocketships—smooth and fast. I rode this bike for two years before selling it to Brent.
