This was my first “real” bike. I saved all my summer job money and bought it from Durham Bike, and it took me everywhere. I remember it was the perfect bike: 21 speeds, a flat (vice riser) handlebar, and most importantly a quick-release front wheel. It was also the bike that introduced me to bike repair (mostly learning how not to do things). Many an afternoon was spent exploring trails in Lee with Jon and Kalim on this bike. I rode it for almost two years before selling it to some college kid.
