I bought this bike complete when I was working as a messenger in San Francisco in 1999. It was was hanging from the ceiling of American Cyclery and was not for sale. I came in to buy a Bianchi Pista, but the Bob Jackson fit so well the guy sold it to me for the same price 700 or 750 $!!! It’s possible that it was originally a dirt track bike or a trainer as it has a good amount of clearance for tires and is drilled for a front brake. However, the forks are most definitely track forks.
