Clifford was my city commuter when I lived in Chicago. Now that I’m in Connecticut for the summer, I recently took her out for a few “real” rides…
6/26/07: ~30 mile Bicycles East shop ride, Glastonbury CT
6/29/07: ~30 mile ride with Zac (flatted on way back, had to walk an hour)
…and was able to keep up with the roadies (smoked a few on the hills too). I was as surprised as they were. Climbs like a goat.
Got her on a scale today at RadSport in Chester, CT: 18.34lbs.

Now that is a sexy beast. And in Husker Red to boot, man! lol You should drop the rear cog down to 12t or 11t and take it to an oval sometime. You will FLY!

Thanks. Actually this was my city commuter for when I lived in Chicago. It’s a singlespeed (thats not a derailleur back there).
