I dunno why my bike’s name is bruce.

this bike doesn’t have factory decals on it, so I bought some hayes/ manitou/ gary fisher stickers to slap on it, so in case you were wondering, it is a gary fisher bitter size 15.5.

parts are surprisingly mostly stock, even though it hardly looks stock to me; I got new tires, a 2.35 in the back being a tioga factory dh pro, and an irc trailbear in the front scaling in at 2.5 inches wide. new easter pedals cause I thought the pins on the standard wellgos were overkill after my 10 stitches, so I’m now riding eastern loose ball pedals (they’re bmx, but kick ass; replable pins and knurled surface). also switched the rear deraileur to a road cage (sora) so I could take a couple of links of chain out for some extrae tension. so as far as the stock fork, NEVER BUY A MANITOU STANCE STATIC. EVER. something locked out on me, I brought it to my shop (NEVER BUY A FREERIDE MOUNTAIN BIKE FROM A ROAD BIKE STORE!) and asked them what happened, said they didn’t know, thought the springs were bad, so they ordered a kit, couldn’t put it in, I called manitou, told them what was up, one week later, boom; manitou minute elite shows up @ my doorstep. It’s PERFECT for the riding I do; 110-140 mm of travel, rebound adjust, stable platform valving, all that good shit. I love it and highly recommend to anyone who rides aggressive all mountain trails with some added jumps.

alright, so this bike was on sale xD. normally, it ranges in at around $950, but gary fisher made too many of them, so I got it for $500 bucks. with the addition of the fork, it’s well worth over $1200, so I’m pretty happy. the upgrades cost me around a hundred bucks in total, but meh; it’s alright- they were things that I wore down until they lost functionality.

I love this bike. a lot. steal it and I won’t shoot you till you get to the side of the road with grass on it. it doesn’t deserve any more scratches xD.
