Original purchased by good ol’ boy buddy Junior as a college commuter for a college campus without many commuters, this bike was stolen out of our dorm sophomore year. Nashville police noticed it under the butt of a known crack dealer, and proceeded to chase him. He got away, ditching the bike after a semi-gnarly crash. They returned it to VU Police, who got it back to Junior, who’d already replaced his bike. My previous bike, also stolen, found itself replaced with this storied rig.
